Robert M. Stein is an assistant professor of Ophthalmology at Rush University Medical Center and an attending physician at both Rush University Medical Center and NorthShore University Health System.
A comprehensive ophthalmologist in Chicago, Dr. Stein provides routine eye care as well as state-of-the-art surgical and laser treatment for a variety of eye diseases. He has developed a reputation as an excellent cataract surgeon and is widely respected for his expertise among patients and physicians alike. Dr. Stein feels very strongly about the importance of excellent communication with his patients. Therefore, he makes this a priority during each patient visit.
Dr. Stein received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin. After earning his Medical Degree from The Chicago Medical School, Dr. Stein completed his residency training at Rush University Medical Center, where he continues to devote his time and energy to the residency training program. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology and the Chicago Ophthalmological Society.
